Jeg er født i 1952 og har altid været glad for farver og for­mer.

Jeg er særligt fascineret af den måde, hvorpå skyernes form og farver ændrer sig, og samtidig ændrer be­skuerens opfattelse af figurer­ne.

På samme måde som den seendes stem­ning er med til at på­virke billed­dannelsen fra skyerne, op­lever jeg, at mine bil­leder kan give oplevelser til de, der bruger tid på at be­tragte dem. Og på samme måde får de tål­modige deres egne oplevelser med hjem - for de billeder, der dannes i vo­res be­vidst­hed, er jo naturligvis enestående fra men­neske til menneske.

Jeg holder af at rejse og samle inspiration hos fremmede kul­turer. Jeg har rejst rundt i In­do­­nesien, Austra­lien, Fiji, Californien og Mexico for at se og opleve an­dre kulturer og samle nye indtryk til mine malerier.

Årene efter har jeg rejst rundt i Thailand, Malaysia, Spanien, Marokko, Kenya, Canada, Japan og New Zealand, samt flere gange i USA.

 

I was born in 1952 and have always been fond of colors and shapes.

I am particularly fascinated by the way in which the colours of the clouds change, and how this is simultaneously changing the viewer’s perception of the figures.

In the same way as the seer’s mood influences whole perception of the changing of the clouds, I find that my paintings can provide the same interchanging relationship between painting and mind for those who perceive them. As such, those who are patient gain their own experiences with the paintings – since the pictures that come into our minds are naturally unique to each individual.

I care for traveling and to gather inspiration from other cultures. I travelled around Indonesia, Australia, Fiji Islands, the state of California, and Mexico in order to see other cultures and to gather new impressions for my paintings.

Years later, I travelled around Thailand, Malaysia, Spain, Morocco, Kenya, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and several times again to the US.
